Will a tailor be able to get this to fit well?
I’m mainly concerned about the shoulders, with the sleeve material poking up. There is a lot of fabric bunched up in there, it seems. And then the pants, obviously…

There would probably be too much to tailor to be worth your time and money
Fixing shoulders is almost always either too expensive or not possible
It feels like they just need to cut out fabric from inside the shoulder. I have no idea what they normally do though
It's not that simple. The general advice is to get a suit that fits in the shoulders. Most other fit issues can be fixed
It’s fits my shoulders perfectly, the jacket is comfortable. It’s the extra material - unless I’m not understanding you

The roping is over the top due to poor sleeve finishing and there is way too much runaway on the shoulder

Not versed on the terms but I assume former is fixable and the latter means the shoulder width is too long and usually not fixable?

What would be the purpose of that? Genuinely asking because she will do something in the back to bring in the waist area and that’s what it sounds like
Okay your issue isn’t the waist, it’s the shoulders. The jacket is okay through the middle

But at the same time, dumping $150+270 into making a jacket look acceptable vs putting that into a new jacket that fits is something to consider
The pants were egregious but those are an easy fix
