Chukka or desert boots ?

I have in my wardrobe : brown Paraboot Michael, black loafers, black Chelsea boots, cream Boston Birks and NB990. I would like to complete my collection with some suede versatile boots and I hesitate between Chukka and Desert Boots. Could you help me to decide ? My budget is around 400€ and I’m in EU. Also do you have some brand recommendations.

what makes you hesitate? I feel like you already have a versatile and complete shoe collection and you can get what you really really want. I think the Crockett and Jones Molton is really nice at around that price but it's a waxed rough out rather than suede.

At the beginning I was thinking about the desert boots but it’s maybe outdated. The chukkas boots are pretty near in terms of style and seems more fashionable at the moment .

yeah it really just depends on what you want. I will say phrases like "complete my collection" often raise flags for me, especially when you seem kinda unsure about how you'll wear them. Even tho desert boots are a style of chukka I find most more "dressy" chukkas to be a very distinct and different style. I'm personally more into the less refined desert boot style you see a good bit from Drake's than a chukka with a leather sole https://www.instagram.com/p/C2FVJtgMf27/?img_index=9

English isn’t my primary language so maybe I said it wrong. I’m looking for a boot versatile enough to alternate with my Paraboot. I tend to wear it everyday and I would like some changes .

gotcha, again personal preference but I'd go with a rubber/crepe soled desert boot style for myself. It would slot into similar outfits and the crepe sole and more anatomical shape would be similarly comfortable. Could even try to find the ones with a moc toe https://us.drakes.com/products/crosby-moc-toe-chukka-boot-brown-suede

As with the Clifford boot, these shoes are superior in their construction, using premium suede uppers and hardy
