Banana Republic suiting?
Has anyone purchased a suit from Banana Republic recently? If so, how slim is the "tailored slim fit" & do you think they are worth it at forty percent off? so that's $360 for a full suit i'm seeing
probably not, at near that price point you could get a suit from todd snyder in the future as they offer heavy discounts and they have separate suit pants as well
spier & mackay suit trousers are drop 6 but can also be adjusted +/- 1.5 in at the waist.
BR isn’t really a great place for suiting, though they’ve at least started to get a little better in terms of interest over the last 2-3 seasons. Def not that worth unless there’s something about an article that you just can’t live without.
If you’re fixing for retail but on sale, J Crew is the better option.
i haven't shopped there recently (other than looking for a cheap t shirt in a pinch) but BR was the first suit i bought for myself like 20+ years ago. it wasnt terrible and was a cheap and easily accessible option that actually fit me without having to do any tailoring. if you have budget and time constraints, it isnt going to be your worst option, but like the others have mentioned, you could probably find something better
