Unified Library
I love the potential of a unified library, but in my view it's still lacking things. (I was told some of these features below will already be added in 1.7)
What I would like to see improved/added:
1. No duplicate assets in the Unified view when the same asset is added to multiple projects.
2. Option to manually add and tag assets (without AI calculations). Some assets like vegetation don't work well with AI tagging (yet).
3. Option to bulk edit tags or tag entire folders. (eg. bulk tagging multiple plants by continent, deciduous/evergreen, bush/tree/grass...)
4. Option to add a human silhouette in the thumbnail for scale (similar to some assets in Twinmotion). *I know this one is a being bit picky *😜

Regarding human scale; it's actually there! Here's how to enable it 🙂
- Bulk tagging is coming.
- we'll have to check again for the duplicate assets issue.
- Manually tagging assets is there. Would be nice if you could just compute assets without even doing an AI tagging pass, imo.
For some reason this isn't showing up for me. I downloaded the latest version 1.6 today. Does it only work for megascans?
I suspect it might be failing for some assets, but not sure why just yet. @Ilgar (Software Developer) any clue? I noticed a couple of assets where it didn't show up as well :thinkies:
