surrounding lods don't increase in resolution as the player gets closer

even after taking the time to write this whole post the lods arouny my regular generated chunks are still lower resolution than they should be

disabling shaders will reload the lod detail causing it to refresh to how it should be but after flying for a bit again the same problem occurs

and its not that my pc hasnt caught up to me or something because i can sit here for a while and it still wont fix it, to prove this point my character will not move from the same positon as the above screenshot and in 10 mins i will update with a new image I am on high detail preset btw obviously this doesnt occur on extreme since its all the same detail level with extreme

it fixes itself on my side after like 30~ secs of idling and looking around a bit but still shouldnt help with using extreme preset on graphics also (i used med)

lets see how long it takes mine to update, i will send another screenshot when it does i believe extreme preset has everything on block level regardless of distance

it seems as though the mod might be trying to re generate the lod levels on demand rather than loading the specific detail level from the file (maybe the file doesnt store multiple detail levels but if it doesnt, that might help with this problem) for more information the world i am in was generated on extreme detail 1024 distance

that's a known bug check dev corner for the pain and suffering fixing that should be available in the near future, in new branch of gitlab

also i tried messing with lod bias to see if i could alleviate this problem but it does absolutely nothing as far as i can tell ok its been 9 minutes, it did actually update after waiting all this time when teleporting the same issue presents, so it doesnt seem to be because of some queue that has built up
