how many threads should be assigned to actual chunk gen vs distant horizons lod gen?
let's say on a cpu like the i5 14400F which has 16 threads, how many should be assigned to chunk gen (either with a mod like c2me or any other multi-threaded chunk gen mod) and how many should be assigned to lod gen? what's the ratio?

I don't know why @Azure has reacted with 'read the faq' when the faq has no mention of anything similar

From my understanding dh lod gen and c2me work in tandem as long as c2me is configured in accordance with #faq-mod-support
From there you can configure dh cpu settings using the presets in dh settings, i recommend the max “i paid for my whole cpu” option.

I have a 4070 that can probably support as many chunks as I can throw at it
it was fine with nvidium where it did both chunk gent and rendering

so I'm asking more so how many threads should I give to dh vs actual chunk gen before one starts affecting the other
I know that dt doesn't generate real chunks, just lod ones with less detail
Dh does generate chunks if you have generation turned on
I currently have assigned 3 to both (as far as my knowledge goes anyway)

What settings are you changing?? The dh cpu settings should probably be set on max and c2me left on default
