(NOT FIXED YET) Hello fellow eyes i am having a huge problem. The iris (non fabric shader) installation works but the iris fabric one does not include any shader optimazation and just lags me.

Ugh look can u just show umm like a pic?? On ur two fabric launchers? Or u can't?
Does not include shader optimization and lags your game? How much does it lag in-game? Send a screenshot with the F3 menu up on both install to see if there's any difference.
alright
i dont have f3
its broken
fn 3 if its a 60%
wtf
do u have a nvidia car
d
you can do alt r for perf
Well that's going to be difficult to diagnose. Many useful functions resides in that menu. I wonder if you can set the key binding to something else.
@TheCatBenny_Bennik btw the iris mod on its own doesn't improve that much u should download sodium with it I think and to use mods download the fabric API mod
do you not have another keyboard laying around somewhere
wat
i think I have sodium or smthing
Hardester can help explain the rest bec unfortunately I gtg
isnt fabric sodium
Is this a laptop or a desktop computer?
i have 2 of them
and iris & sodium
and optifine
laptop
Fabric is a mod loader, similar but not the same as Forge. Sodium is a mod made for Fabric for the time being.
now how do I use mods for iris or fix my issue
mods folder on minecraft
You forgot to add Fabric API. That mod is needed by Sodium.
so when I add fabric api everything works smoothly now?
That issue is most likely something else knowing you run a laptop, but that is to be seen soon enough.
You can try adding that mod now for the time being.
If you still experience poor performance, the issue comes down to your game using the slower integrated GPU included with your laptop. You will need to set it to your faster dedicated GPU via Windows settings, soon enough.
Once u add fabric API,download lithium too bec sodium and lithium works fine together and FerriteCore for low memory usage and entity culling mod :gigachad:
It's up to u it's not necessary
Let's not overload them with options until they explicitly need or want them.
Yea ok
its still laggy
Time for this, then.
First order of business, open up your Minecraft launcher.
Ill just use Iris with no fabric
If you're only going to play with shaders, that's a valid option. But do note that it limits you in terms of playing modded.
So you consider your case as complete, or you have other objectives that needs help?
I'll just remove shaders for fabric,
Yo u still didn't find a sol?
