The beta stops loading new chunks after changing a single setting
Just changed the render distance from 128 to 64 to have it load quicker to test the different quality settings, been sitting here for 10+ minutes waiting for it to load, the only "fix" was reloading the world. (sorry if this is the wrong place, I don't think I have access to the dh-beta forums for some reason)

i think instead of toggle changes the settings in real-time, Apply button would fix this problem.
I hit "done" after changing settings, and from what i can see from the f3 menu (keeping in mind i have a smol brain), the render buffer rather than going up on both sides of the /, just sits at 0/17
reoloading the world, and it moves from like 20/30 to 20/40
on minimum*
on extreme it sits aroung 500/1300, but again changing a single setting and it sits at 0/750-800

the problem lies where as i mentioned, when you change RD in DH, it's real-time as you type, so 512 > 256, if you dont type fast enough, it'll try to load what you partially typed (and that borked dh)
as for render quality, i havent experience that yet
i tried copy-pasting the number 256 in, and it still didnt work
as for typing fast enough, that's not the issue, as the non-rendering issue also happens when changing the quality settings, or even the fog settings
other than that there's nothing to do but restart the game
but i'll wait for devs to check in on this
