Proper Cloth fit advice
Struggling to dial in the right shirt fit with Proper Cloth. First three photos in cooler lighting are shirt #1 and the next three are shirt #2.
First fit seemed pretty good overall but there was too much tension on the top button that pushed up the collar. I reached out to Proper Cloth for fit advice and suggested changing the button stance- instead, they recommended moving the neck posture back by an inch and increasing the yoke. I followed this suggestion for #2.
Now the overall fit feels terrible- pulling across the top of my back and bagginess in the front of my arm pits. Any suggestions?

The shoulders are like 2” too narrow
For these shirts, you might want to try a larger size that allows for greater room and have it tailored to sinch your waist more. Alternatively if the shirt is being worn tucked into your pants, you could use : NV Holders: S-Holder - premium shirt stays, shirt holders, shirt garters, shirt tuckers for men https://a.co/d/8mTYadi

NV Holders are premium shirt holders, shirt stays, shirt garters, shirt tucker for men, mens stay, suspenders, for military, police, law enforcement, to keep their dress shirt tuck with adjustable side straps straps and tail belt. Those keepers and garter will make you look classy. Instead of soc...
I use these to pull down the shirt underneath my pants to flatten it. It helps keep you looking neat all day
Shirt stays will not be useful here
For the first shirt or the second?
Both of them look very narrow. I didn’t realize they were different tbh
Thanks- will add some shoulder + chest width and shrink the waist a bit. Reverting the weird next movement that the Proper Cloth guy suggested.
I wouldn’t reduce the waist at all
Really? Some guy on reddit suggested it: https://www.reddit.com/r/malefashionadvice/comments/1b9jqyv/comment/ktz0nvt/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button

You should be comfortable and be able to move in your clothes. If you reduce it I doubt you’d be able to move hardly at all
Got it- really appreciate the input
It’s sorta personal preference but I like my shirts to have plenty of space. The 3rd pic is one of my favorite shirts bc of how slouchy and easy to wear it is. I’m never fighting the shirt bc it’s so roomy
Seems to be getting better but now I have a bulge when it’s buttoned all the way up. Should I add more chest/shoulder width or adjust the button spacing?
Hard to tell with it so wrinkly tbh. I’d press/steam it
