Looking for recommendations for a hooded, waterproof jacket
Looking for something similar to the attached LL Bean Anorak- something with a workwear-esque or military inspired style, that's weatherproof and hooded for days where I'm going to be walking around the city in inclement weather.
Would also prefer a brighter colored option as a lot of my jackets are all neutral or muted tones and I want something to stand out a little on drab days.
Recommendations for currently sold products or discontinued classics that can be thrifted/found online are both appreciated!

what don't you like about the Bean anorak? just the color?

It's pretty similar looking to a Patagonia torrentshell and those have brighter colors
I like my torrentshell. I got it in a boring color, but you don't have to make my mistake.
north face, rei, columbia, eddie bauer probably will have some decent options. if you dont mind spending a little more, maybe arcteryx, kuhl, fjallraven

LL bean Japan has a different version of the anorak you sent. It’s about $100 iirc but you would have to find a place that has it (maybe United arrows or beams plus international shipping) and then play import fees
I like the USA version too but this is just one I’ve been personally looking at
