ERROR: Batching World Generator
LOD chunks are not loading. I got the screenshotted error in chat after waiting for a couple minutes, and then after several more minutes they actually did load partially, but they don't seem to be working very well.
I've tried:
* making sure the mod is installed and enabled
* editing C2ME's config like mentioned in one of the faq channels
* changing chunk gen threads for vanilla and LOD chunks
* changing vanilla and LOD render distances
nothing seems to help. I'm using the default Minecraft client with the Essential mod, have allocated 8gb of ram (out of 16), and have no other performance mods but Starlight. also using the private alpha versions of DH and Iris with shader compat, but I'm having the issue even without using shaders and it was happening on older versions too. currently on 1.20.1, mod list is attached.

did you change the LOD threading option that enables/disables "throttle ing"? that helps me quite often, to just disable it and then enable it again later (i most of the time just leave it off tbf)
other than that restarting the game helps often
idk since i installed optifine for the 16.5 i got the same problem
did you check the incompatibilities?
idk if youre using optifine or optifabric but i guess both are kinda no bueno
could be but imma check it real quick
i only got 14 mods but dey worked well with DH before i installed optifine
so it has to do with something in optifine
yeet it out and try using sodium and iris
optifine doesnt do that much for performance anymore afaik

i thought iris is fabric so i only used optifine
theres a port for it

it popped up for 1.16.5
so i think it works maybe

oculus got shaders tho right?
just make sure to check its incompatibilities iam unsure if its compatible with sodium or if it was sum else haha ima have to look into it aswell
