trapdoors have this x ray looking effect when shaders are on or off

I know it had issues like this in the past
If not, I have no idea

It is indeed a mod problem not an iris problem
There might be a setting you can toggle to fix it too
In More Culling's config
Disable blockstate culling
delete more culling
there's not really a point to moreculling, it causes a number of issues and the performance gain is debatable
for me the performance gain from the leaves culling is insane, and you don't even notice the leaves it culls
the blockstate culling is the only one that really causes issues now and then, and that's usually only because it conflicts with resource packs
I'm using cull-less-leaves for leaves culling, and yeah that is substantial on its own
custom models more specifically
i used to use this but it hasnt been updated for 1.20.4
the version from august works on 1.20.4 as-is
