Both are nice but i would probs say 2 since its more casual
Does the banded collar look nice on me? Or should I go for the usual collars?
I like the banded collar tbh I’ve been looking for one myself but one that has buttons only half way on the shirt but like a kurta if your from that region lol
Look for “popover”
Thanks
Wythe did a really nice run a couple of years ago with some light linen/cotton blend blue fabrics. Some of my favorite shirts as I try to bring more of my home into my style
All milled and made in Tamil Nadu I believe
Oh nice that’s cool to hear so are you Tamil?
I would love to get some linen cotton ones and maybe some crepe ones that are more drapey
If you wanna see some south Asian brands check out Kardo, karu research, official aomi they have really cool stuff
I own some stuff from official aomi it’s a new brand based in Pakistan I really like it
1 looks a bit long imo
Nope, not Tamil, but spent a year in Chennai after my childhood in Ahmedabad
Not gujju though
i like the collar and colour on 2 tho
Both of those look like they’d be happier tucked in
Oh I’m from Pakistan and I’m Punjabi bro but I’ve lived all my life in uk
Love a band collar
So which one then lol if you’re cool with me asking
Let’s not muddy @Billu’s thread
Yh we did kind of took it over sorry @Billu but I think second one looks best
Both seem reasonable and fit well. I personally am not a big fan of banded collars, and I love navy blue, so it's clear what I would choose. But that's just, like, my opinion, man. You do you.
No worries bro. Even I like the second one. However I'm not sure if I'd want the banded collar. Maybe I'll look for the same shirt with the collar of the first one.
Can you tell the features which made you think so? It may help me in developing a better dressing sense.
it's too long which makes your torso look longer and legs look shorter.
personal preference may vary but the sweet spot for ubtucked shirts is the front hem hitting the middle of your fly
Got it. Thanks
I'll have it hemmed
Yh pretty much what everyone said some people like it where there legs make up 2/3 of the outfit and the shirt is 1/3 it’s the whole rule of three you don’t have to follow it but Yh most shirts are supposed to be midfly and t shirts. The pic I included shoes high waisted trousers and shirt
But obviously this is a more formal outfit yours seems more casual in the pic
I would try tucking in before hemming
I don’t think tucked in is always too formal
roll the sleeves up, unbutton your second button
