Wider Leg Opening Pants
Hello!
Looking for recommendations on brands that carry pants with 8 inch leg openings or larger. Specific pant recommendations are welcome also.
Prefer fit to be straight/regular to relaxed/loose. Attached are examples of how I'd like the pants to fit.
Would like technical fabrics that are lightweight and all season use, but open to most anything. I'd like to stay away from denim.
Price range is between Uniqlo and Arc'teryx, but I mostly try to buy pre-owned if possible.
I'd like to purchase within North America to avoid challenges with customs and shipping.
If my request doesn't make sense or is lacking enough details, please let me know.

For what it's worth most regular or straight fit trousers should have a leg opening of 8", that's actually not very wide at all.
Gramicci G-Pants can be found on sale regularly and fit a lot of your criteria. Size up for a wider fit; they're very forgiving due to the built-in belt. Tech-y (they're originally rock climbing pants) and super versatile.
Can you be a bit more specific with price range though?
Outlier makes some very cool stuff, they have a range of cuts depending on the pant and good technical fabrics. Also a good return policy if you’re buying new and a solid secondhand market if you prefer that.
Thanks for your feedback! I come from a slim fit background so 8 inch is wide for me, but I get what you're saying. Prefer under $80 USD but open to maybe around $120 USD. Very open to buying pre-owned.
Thanks for the info! I'm pretty familiar with Outlier, I had their Futurework pants which I believe was their widest leg opening at the time, at 7 inches. I'll give them another look though, it's been awhile so maybe they have new offerings.
Their more standard pants (futureworks, strongdarts, and dungarees) tend toward a more tapered cut but the “experimental” section will have wider stuff in more interesting fabrics (but also on the higher end of their price scale).
