Recommended domain registrar
Hey,
I purchased a custom domain to use with my website hosted on railway. However, I purchased the domain on godaddy, and found out they don't allow you to add a CNAME record to the root (@) of the domain. My website currently only works on the www subdomain. I would like to transfer my domain to a different registrar, that will allow me to properly link the root of the domain to the URL provided by railway. Are there any recommended registrar's that are known to work? Thanks!

I'd recommend using either Cloudflare or Namecheap as a name registrar, both supports CNAME on root
For now, you can use Cloudflare as a nameserver, which will allow you to add your CNAME on the root of the domain, I have a full tutorial on that here: https://discord.com/channels/713503345364697088/1184564652898779256/1184566739539873803...

@Fragly You even provided a step by step guide, that's incredible! Thanks
No problem at all >:)
namecheap or spaceship (owned by namecheap) 🤙
or porkbun
these 3 are the best
can you confirm spaceship supports cnames at the root domain?
