how do i get those fancy landscapes like the ones of the screenshots sections
how do i make my game looks like the one in the photos here on disc? I'm using the default options for the mod, do i need to generates chunks with chunky or something? It takes too long for the distanthorizons generates my setup is a ryzen5600g with gtx1660super and 30gb ram
i've tried pregenerate chunks with chunky but even after 15 minutes the game looks like this with some random holes

do i need to generates chunks with chunky or somethingif distant generation is enabled, DH will generate as many chunks as you've set as your LOD render distance as for the random holes, that happens from time to time. are you on the latest nightly? this was mostly fixed since 2.0.1
it's set on 256, i think it's the default one with medium graphics
i'm using the "DistantHorizons-2.0.1-a-1.20.1.jar"
try the latest build from #links
delete the lods and let them regenerate
/lodstored
Single Player:
- Overworld:
.minecraft/saves/WORLD_NAME/data/DistantHorizons.sqlite
- Nether: .minecraft/saves/WORLD_NAME/DIM-1/data/DistantHorizons.sqlite
- End: .minecraft/saves/WORLD_NAME/DIM1/data/DistantHorizons.sqlite
- Custom Dimensions: .minecraft/saves/WORLD_NAME/DIMENSION_FOLDER/data/DistantHorizons.sqlite
Multiplayer:
- .minecraft/Distant_Horizons_server_data/SERVER_NAME/
ok
now it seems it doenst even generate anything
rejoin the world
sometimes after deleting the sqlite file new chunks won't load in if the game wasn't restarted
i've restarted the game to change the mod
i created another world here, it generating now, i'm gonna wait and see if it persists the same
it's looking way better without the holes thanks, the holes was bc i was using chunky to generate? but the range without chunky doens't seem to big
it's not because of chunky
dh would sometimes just leave holes, can't remember the exact reaso
so when that happens i should delete the sqlite archive?
if it's just a hole or two, fly over and make some change to the region
it'll update the lod
placing and breaking a block for example
oh ok thanks
