Proximity chat range/volume
How to increase the proximity chat's range/volume? Increasing voice chat volume makes the walkie talkie way too loud but at the level it's at now I can barely hear my friends unless I'm literally standing next to them

I understand, but I meant that I LITERALLY have to walk up to arm's length of the person to talk to him. Even a little further away from spear stabby range and it's like he's trying to whisper from across a football field. Is there anyway (like thru a config file or launch option perhaps) to bump up the proximity chat range? So I don't need to have my walkie equipped while standing literally 3 meters apart from each other?
