Curve Tool Problem
hello. I was drawing some curves using the Draw Curve tool, then I closed the tool and now the panel won't appear back. I can still draw them, but the panel with the settings is missing. I tried re-starting the engine. I get these error messages in the log:

Hey!
Sorry about the issues!
do you try the Draw Curve or the Curve tool when you get that message? 🙂
draw curve 🙂
Then the panel is not suppose to open, it is just an action that let's you draw, more or less! 🙂 What happens if you try Curve tool, does the panel open for you then? 🙂
curve tool seems to work fine. Just one question regarding that. Are the output curves supposed to show up in the active tools?
or do they get "baked" and can't be edited once the panel is closed?
Good!
They are baked, once you exit the current draw mode, they will not be editable if you open another one, unfortunately.
ok good to know 🙂 i asked because i had issues with other tools not appearing in the active tools panel.
but i think that was solved with an update
Ah yee, I think I remember some of those conversations. 🙂
Do you think it would be valuable to be able to edit previous curves if you open up another draw mode? Not sure if possible, but could note it down in our list if you want 🙂
Any idea what the log error messages mean then?
Yes, i think it would be. Right now you have to draw the curve to see what the settings look like and if you want to change anything you have to re-draw the curve...
like spacing for example
No idea 😄 Gonna check with the devs 🙂
If you are still in the same draw mode, you should be able to see the curve result and then hover over it and change it with the 3 settings that appear in the floating little panel, if you follow what I mean? 🙂
oh i see, spacing can be changed with re-sample
Exaclty ! 🙂
that's good enough 🙂
Great! But I can still note down that it would be nice to get that access in a new draw mode, if you think that would be nice 🙂
it does offer a bit more control.
but if i understand how the to works correctly, it will be difficult 😄 the spacing seems to be related to pixels of the current view, so editing this later is probably not possible 😄
Ah that's probably true 😄
@Sitta Hey!
I just thought I would circle back here and mention that in Dash 1.7, it is now possible to edit, already-drawn curves as discussed above! 🙂
