Unami template doesn’t work with a custom domain
Hi, I’ve recently joined railway and wanted to host my umami analytics there. I successfully deployed it, and it works in the default railway url, but in my custom domain (cloudflare):
- redirects don’t work
- the login page and dashboard is broken
Could someone help me? I’ve spent an hour debugging and searching and still can’t find the cause

have you redeployed it?

Yes
have you done a hard refresh?
I have tried using a wrong password on the login page and the wrong password message appears
But not in the custom domain
What’s that?
ctrl + f5
Oh on the page ?
either way, unless you find a solution by tomorrow (it's 4 for me), I'll deploy umami tomorrow, add a custom domain on cloudflare and see what's going on
do you have the little orange cloud enabled in cloudflares dns settings
I’ll try once I get home and have access to my computer (can’t test in my phone because it has outdated WebKit and nextjs crashes)
I recently disabled it to test if it works
It wasn’t working when it was on, still isn’t
okay I'll get back to you tomorrow after I've deployed it
I assume you've deployed my template right?
Yes
I have now tested on my phone and I encounter the same problem
So it’s not a cache or client issue
This url doesn’t work: https://umami.origaming.ch
This one does: https://umami-production-b2fc.up.railway.app
You can simply see by inputting a wrong password and username
both links tell me my username and or password is incorrect? granted I'm on my phone right now and not looking into the network calls the site makes, so at the surface I'm not seeing anything different
just deployed the umami template, added a custom domain and can still login without issues.
opened your link on the deskop and when loging in with test test i get the desired 401 from the correct domain
