Homarr Stuck on Welcome Screen after update
Running on Unraid 6.12.3, after last update Homarr is stuck at the welcome screen. Getting this screen after an update has happened before but this time none of the buttons do anything. I've restarted the docker several times with no luck. Tried looking at real time logs after a restart, nothing seemed odd. Any help is appreciated.

Reinstalled the docker in Unraid and had it delete the image so it would pull fresh. after it was done, it came right up

So it's bringing you into the /onboard page. Have you tried to just manually enter to the /board page?
I have and it redirects back to onboard instantly
Do you have a lot of users? I'd suggest renaming your db.sqlite in the /data mount to dbback.sqlite, restart homarr and try again.
Basically resetting the userbase. If that userbase is important, try to restore it after going through the onboarding.
nope, just me
Yeah then just delete it and go through onboarding again.
anyway I can get my board configuration before i do that. I'd prefer not having to rebuild it again
You should just delete db.sqlite, your boards will be left untouched. But it's always a good idea to back things up before doing anything
ok, so then boards aren't saved in the db then?
Not yet no
Database is only used for user, which is the component that most likely triggers onboarding I think
gotcha
sounds good. I'll give it a go and let you know if it resolves it or not
Fingers crossed
no go 😦 I renamed the db.sqlite to dbback.sqlite and restarted the docker and the same thing is happening. At the welcome screen but clicking on Start update process does nothing
Can't even click the Light/Dark mode button in the top right
Have you tried multiple browsers and private tab?
Sometimes adblockers/pop up blockers get triggered
It looked like it was workign for a sec trying that but its having issues. I found the json file for my board, I think i'm just going to backup that and then wipe and reload the docker
Yeah the json file is the only thing you need to back up really. "default.json" unless you renamed it, that's your board
Sorry it has to come down to this but simetimes that's how it is I guess ^^'
yep, never renamed it so that looks to be it. that can the custom icons I uploaded
no worries lol. It be like that sometimes
Thanks for you help though
If the mounts are on a hostpath of some sort, you may not even need to place them back there, just point your mounts at the same spot
yea that is what i'm going to try, backed it up just in case though. lol never know what might happen
Always backup of course
Yep, looks like that was the right course of action.
Solution
Reinstalled the docker in Unraid and had it delete the image so it would pull fresh. after it was done, it came right up
Glad it's working, enjoy the new update then ^^
Thanks! lol
Have a good one!
