sometimes i get a thrill put of dressing like the rich bully from a john hughes film - sweaters, ocbds, khakis, ties, loafers, all that's missing is the disdain for the poor
that said i hold a special place in my heart for these goofs
Fashion in John Hughes films is just so good. I have taken a lot of inspiration from them over the years

I often feel a decades style can get distilled down into a meme that misses the mark. But inspiration from present set movies and tv shows is a great way to find the actual style. The other question is whether the clothes were stylish in the present day but that is irrelevant for inspiration.
80's has been my personal inspo recently. I;'m rocking a mullet with lots of denim nowadays and bigger silhouettes. I personally am doing it as an ode to my father after finding some of his photos in his youth.

80s is my least favourite decade for fashion and yes I am aware the 90s existed
So many of my personal irrational hatreds live there. Bucket hats, mullets, neon and pastel and ugly prints.
