Vegan leather boots/shoes

Hi! Has anyone had good experiences with vegan leather alternatives for boots and shoes? Any recommended brands? I'm not really looking for something specific right now, probably just something casual first, but would like to explore what options there are.

I have a a pair of boots from Wills Vegan Shoes that have held up well after a couple years of wear. They don’t flake or crack where they crease, which has always been my problem with vegan leather.

No personal experience with the company but seconding Wills Vegan Shoes - I've heard good things about them from several different people

I would avoid it for boots, as its basically plastic

Also ground cover has some dope vegan "leather" boots (cactus leather on some) but I can't comment on durability. Like Commie Garcon said, plastic isn't gonna hold up that well

I have wills chelseas which I love. Big fan of my viron combats too. I don’t have groundcover boots but I have their wallabees and have been really impressed by how comfortable they are. I’ve had my Chelseas for a bout 4 years now and they’ve held up really well. I’ve had the viron 1992s for almost 2 years now and while they can scuff kinda easily they’ve been holding up pretty well also. The ground covers were a recent purchase so can’t comment on durability quite yet, but I will say their QC isn’t perfect. My shoes had some stitching defects that I wouldn’t expect for paying such high prices. That’s really my only knock on ground cover tbh. Make sure you know your sizing because they don’t do returns or exchanges either

Years ago I bought a pair of second-hand 'vegan' Dr Martens Chelsea boots and they held up remarkably well. Much better than their regular high shine leather version, which is notorious for splitting where your boots/shoes bend. However, there are many people who have had problems with the 'vegan' leather that Dr Martens offers, too.

Can I ask you how you sized for the ground cover Wallabees? It seems like their eu size chart indicates it runs 0.5 big from US brannock
