Im in my mind palace at work rn, digging through my closet wondering why i have so many clothes and nothing to wear
sweatpants while sitting on the couch eating icecream
I don't think I distinguish much between what I wear and what I'd wear for dates, I just kind of have a set of clothes that I deem acceptable based on different formalities/vibes and work from there.

but honestly most date night outfits tend to only be mildly different from my normal ones; this was probably the most recent time actively dressing for it
I tend to not wear blazers/sport coats day to day, so wearing that would probably the main difference, if we were to go somewhere nice.
I don't get to wear my suits enough so definitely would go with that. Maybe next year I'll get to 🙂

this year we're cooking a nice meal at home and I don't like wearing nice clothes to cook in because of oil/sauce splatters etc

I put on an ocbd for our date which is about as dressed up as either of us does outside of weddings. Did look sharp tho.
