Hi. I think this is a known problem, but suddenly it has a solution. This applies only to the block-entity. The mobs disappear as usual

That's expected behavior if entities are loaded in the same chunks as LODs.
is that an overlap issue?
It’s the same issue as clouds rendering on top of LODs
I noticed that if you move away a long distance, they will unload. And they won't load until I get within vanilla distance again. Perhaps it would be possible to forcibly unload them when they leave the vanilla distance
That would require DH to mess with vanillas rendering which is smth that the devs want to avoid as much as possible
I understand. Although a switch to this option could be added. It will be possible to turn it off if there are any problems
There is a feature called seamless overdraw which will disable vanilla rendering and enable DH rendering at the exact same point but right now it doesnt work with Sodium
When thats fixed then thats probably exactly what you need
