LODs failing to load at all even when enabled (tested nightly build and og but both didnt work)
Here's my modlist, i think its probably mods causing it but i have no clue

try with DH alone first and see if it's working or not.
otherwise post latest.log from the instance where it crashes.

some mods version naming scheme on file name kinda hazy.
and without optifabric it shouldnt function, but still, remove it

try binary search to see which one causing it.

The whole thing about a binary search is that it is the most efficient way of searching for problematic mods

Try a binary search and figure out which mod is causing it.
So disable half of the mods, see if issue is still there, if yes disable half again etc etc until you find the mod that's causing the issue.

especially when you have 217 mods

Thats an option but some server side mods can still mess with DH
Finding incompatible mods is always just a chore

I just added it to the discord FAQ, I’ll have to add it to gitlab another time.
Background on why Methane breaks DH: DH requires a light map in order to determine how LODs should be lit and Methane removes the light map. So DH assumes something went wrong and doesn’t render.
If I remember it might be worth adding an explicit incompatibility in DH’s code for Methane.
