Unable to Import Oculus shader settings

Hi, im sorry if this is inappropriate to ask here. I have successfully managed to download and run complementary shaders via Iris. I was intending to import settings from another person, however their tutorial said to download Oculus instead of Iris. Now since i just want to use these shaders for vanilla and i know Oculus is for Forge compatibility, and i didnt manage to get Oculus running, i followed a yt tutorial which used Iris. However i still wanted to import the settings from the other tutorial, so i did what it told me, downloaded the txt file with the settings and imported it, which didnt work. It didnt change the settings at all for me, and i wanted to ask if this is because of the Iris instead of Oculus situation, or if theres something else to consider.

Oculus shouldn’t be needed for configs

simply download the txt file for the custom settings, place them in your shaderpacks folder, and rename the file to exactly match the file name of the shaders. For example let's say your shaderpack file is named Complementaryunbound_r5.1.1.zip. YOu'd name the settings file Complementaryunbound_r5.1.1.zip.txt. Importing the settings should work from in-game but if it doesn't use that method oh they left
