Which one among the two jeans has a better fit?
The dark blue one fits without belt and feels closer to my legs. For the other one however I would need to wear a belt as the waist feels a bit loose.

Yup, it's a tapered fit. As I'm a skinny guy so regular size doesn't look good on me
Obviously up to you but I think this cut doesn’t look good on you. It makes the shirt look too big instead of the nice intentional oversized vibes you could get from it and it makes the boots look huge
But it does! Your brain gets used to the new look in just a few days. Relaxed looks awesome on skinny guys. I’m the opposite. I do that with slim. My gf prefers slim but I hate it. I think it’s mostly the boots that don’t go with slim. Narrow shoes or sandals, or even flip-flops look better with slim/tapered.
I used to wear this shirt earlier with regular fit jeans. I'm however not gonna wear it with this one. I wore it just to take a picture.
The boot is also a bit oversized. I'm gonna exchange it with a smaller size one.

Unless they’re way too big and you’re going from a size 12 to a size 9 or something
Even then the jeans are the weak part for me. I like the boots and the shirt.
If you’re gonna go with a skinny cut like that I’d go with the ones that fit your waist best. The fit is nearly identical to my eyes

I still think the taper is too much and makes your silhouette look like a carrot with big shoes

A wider straighter cut is what I’d go for. A slim straight could also work

I'm a fellow skinny dude, and wider pants canl actually look better on you and me, you just need to find the right cut. Skinny fits will only make you look skinnier, which is great if thats what you want, but.
Yeah I’m also very skinny, you just would never know unless you saw me in shorts because I wear looser cut pants, I agree with beans that a looser cut would be better regardless of other factors
I agree with the others, skinny jeans especially styled this way are very off trend. I promise you if you wear some straight fit / regular fit jeans they'll look just fine
