Budget?
$60-70 I guess
just want it to be comfy and look like this
Maybe check the sale section at All Saints.
need it for mens
all of these are womens I think
All Saints sells men's clothes.
never mind
it went to the womens page by default for some reason
Seems like the kind of thing Urban outfitters might carry too.
all saints didnt have it
urban outfitters is making me do a bot check and it fails every time so i cant go to their website lol
I have tried jackets/sweaters on amazon and they end up being pretty uncomfortable
amazon isn't really a place to shop for clothes
i can't tell 100% from the picture but looks like a drop shoulder ribbed or maybe even thermal/waffle sweater
I was gonna say, at $60 unless you wanna buy something secondhand a size up, I'd just search "black ribbed drop shoulder sweater" on google and buy something you like the look of from a store that only sells clothes
I think it's a waffle knit sweater
is a "shoulder sweater" defined by this seam that goes across the shoulder like this?
that's a "drop shoulder"
there should be a website that helps you define what these terms mean
this is like learning to code
Here's a waffle knit with raglan sleeves but no drop shoulder https://www.rei.com/product/208210/rei-co-op-wallace-lake-waffle-sweater-mens
Not really but you can always ask questions like that by making another thread in #questions-and-advice
i like the one in the pic I posted. that seam across the shoulder looks good
Ok so the drop shoulder is important. Lemme look
that seam is called a drop shoulder?
GAP sell a drop shoulder black sweater in the UK for £40. COS sell a wool one that looks quite a bit better for £90.
yes
i don't mind spending a bit more
https://losangelesapparel.net/products/fmp01-mix-unisex-fisherman-pullover
Not exactly the same knit but a close texture and with a drop shoulder
Los Angeles Apparel
FMP01 Mix - Unisex Fisherman Pullover
The iconic Fisherman Pullover is back with a few updates. We used open end yarns and garment dyed these sweaters for a naturally broken-in feel and vibrant color finish. Pair this sweater with our RGB300 Tennis Skirt and Opaque Tights for a sophisticated look or layer it with one of our turtlenecks for extra color and
but there's no seam on this one like in the pic?
Yes there is
Look closely at the upper bicep area
are you able to find one that's more pronounced like the one in the pic? don't mind spending a bit more
Or look at one of the non black colours, the photography doesn't help.
also it would be good if it actually goes across the shoulder, not upper bicep
I thought you wanted that?
oh yeah it is upper bicep in that pic
more pronounced would be good then
It's as pronounced on this one, just hard to see from the model's pose. Look at the other colors
I don't think you're gonna get much better than this, but feel free to continue searching with the terms "waffle knit" and "drop shoulder"
when you search for clothes, do you go to google images and then go to the website once you find one you like?
or is there a bettter way
To find this I googled
waffle knit "drop shoulder" sweater men
and ignored the results from Shein, Amazon, and Zarawhy not zara?
Extremely variable fabric quality/fit/finishing/quality control as their business model is to pump out massive volumes of clothing that change style very quickly. Similarly to Shein, boohoo, ASOS.
Occasionally you'll get something good but it's mostly a gamble.
ok thanks
if i can't find anything i'll go with the one you linked
FWIW I think Zara is fine quality wise and have no problem with their clothing itself. How they operate is a separate question
I think Zara is mostly fine to buy in-store. Online is too much of a crap shot of not being able to feel the fabric/try items on etc. I remember buying a couple things from them not that long ago (online) for a costume/fancy dress and them all being different sizes despite being labelled same item/same size. YMMV.
