We will be releasing the new version of Wasp soon ( @martinsos can estimate the best when), and it will have breaking changes. But, we'll also introduce a codemod that will make the transition half-automated, so it shouldn't be a terribly big nuisance, especially for fairly new/small projects So I think if you want to start playing around you can, but also if you push it for a week or so then you'll have the newest thing ready 🙂

Thanks. I’ve been playing around already and prepping to make a serious push. Sounds like I should wait until new version is out. Or can I start with pre-release?

You can, but some docs might be missing/out of date though. Although you can also ask us here if something isn't clear

Pre-relase will be challening, I would recommend to wait. As it looks currently, it will be coming out end of this week or if not, then certianly next week, depends on how many issues we hit while testing / doing QA and how demanding the fixes are.

thanks! I have plenty of other things to do, so waiting sounds optimal. Will you be updating the opensaas together with the new wasp release?

Yes! It might lag a couple of days, but we plan to update it relatively quickly.

thanks. Where would I check for the current status? Have you announced the latest release?

You can ask us :D. We are a bit late with it, current ETA is Monday/Tuesday. We have 98% things ready, just polishing some last moment kinks.
