T-shirts for short guys?

Hi! I've been trying to find decent-fitting tshirts for shorter folks (5'5-5'7) but the recommendations on the sub are all $30+. Any brands for <$15 whose tshirts run shorter? I feel dejected every time I try a new tee, only to see that it's way too long for me. The Lyndale tee from Target was excellent, but they don't make them anymore. Any advice?

If you can't find anything, you could still tuck them in, or buy a bunch and bring them to a seamstress to get them shorten. It's a very quick job that won't cost you much, especially if you bring them in batch, plus it's easy to find a local retired lady (or man) offering their service for that kind of job if you want to spend even less.

Thanks - I love giving my tailor business, and hem all my pants there. I just can't see myself doubling the cost of each shirt which I'll prob need to replace within a year. What's the best way to tuck in a T-shirt? I've tried before but it's never looked nice 😅 I've heard the quality has gone really downhill on these and aren't worth buying anymore. Thoughts?

I mean I don't have any particularly old ones, but for a $8 t shirt it's perfectly fine. I also like the j crew premium relaxed whatever they call them, but they don't tend to go on sale very often Just make sure the tucked in part of the t shirt is sitting flush against your body Higher rise pants tend to help the look

I wouldn’t worry about having your t shirt be super snug when you tuck it in. I wear tucked in tees all sorts of ways, just depends on the vibe of the outfit

the first and last ones are hugely oversized, the second is super trim, and the third is very “normal” fit. Basically I think people worry about t shirt for a bit too much

I’m 5’5ish and I find uniqlos tees are fine length wise - the supima tees and the heavier U ones. It’d be interesting to see an example of what you consider too long too. But I was quite self aware of length when I was first exploring, because I was trying to pair them with a trucker jacket (which is naturally quite short) - Uniqlo were the best option I found

Uniqlo U tees are short enough for my liking and i’m not as tall as you are
