Vintage blazer (?) fit check
Found an old blazer (or possibly orphaned suit?) from Goodwill but I'm unsure if it fits and/or if the style lends itself to being worn oversized. I'm 5'9" without shoes and somewhere between 38S and 40S depending on the brand.
I also tried to look up the brand for any other info (like fabric...) but there's nothing about "Sherfield Limited" or its relation to Dillards - any ideas?

Sleeves and body look too short to me. I think you'd probably be better off with a 38R or 40R. You're probably a similar size to me, since I'm 5'9" or 5'10" and wear a 38 or 40, and I wear regular, not short.
body length is fine to my eye - on the short side but not unwearable
sleeve length is indeed short, but your shirt sleeve also appears short to me. so even though you're showing the right amount of cuff, I think you need an inch longer in both your shirt sleeve and your jacket sleeve
old blazer with not much info online likely means a brand that went defunct before the internet went big. doesn't mean it's good or bad. Cut on the blazer looks nice, it's a classic cut, not oversized or slim. Take it to a tailor and see what they think, but yeah I'd wear it with confidence after getting the sleeves adjusted
i suspect i have somewhat long arms relative to the rest of me which has made finding shirts a pain in the ass
Sleeves short but the rest looks pretty great tbh
i think it’s just fine. the shoulders are good and the back is pretty clean. the sleeves may be a little short so you can see if there’s fabric to let them out. if not, just wear the shirts you have that have shrunk 😉
