Seeking Recommendations for Domain and Hosting Services for ASP.NET Project

I'm in the process of developing a startup project using ASP.NET and am at a stage where I need to make decisions regarding domain registration and web hosting. I would greatly value your input on a couple of key points:
Domain Registration: I'm considering using GoDaddy for domain registration but have come across mixed reviews. Would you recommend GoDaddy, or are there better alternatives for a project like mine? I'm looking for a service that is reliable, offers efficient DNS management, and provides strong customer support.
Web Hosting Options: For hosting my ASP.NET website, I am weighing between Azure and ASPHostPortal. Since this is a startup project, I am seeking a solution that offers a good balance between affordability, scalability, and seamless integration with ASP.NET. Do you have any insights on the suitability of Azure or ASPHostPortal for a startup environment? If you have experience with either (or other hosting platforms), I would love to hear about the pros and cons you've encountered, especially in relation to ASP.NET development.

Azure will most likely be very expensive, compared to the alternatives. I've never heard of ASPHostPortal, but there are plenty of decent VPS providers that would be more than fine initially.

Personally, I recommend Cloudflare for a registrar
They're fair, offer amazing tools, and you can't get domains cheaper anywhere else
what do you use for hosting
I use an OVH VPS
And I use a private kubernetes cluster operated by a local "private cloud" provider for legal reasons

Far as the VPS goes, nobody can look up your info there
FYI, I'm using Asphostportal here to host my .net website, easy to use and price is also affordable. Azure is pretty expensive, you may use their calculator pricing first before decide go with them. For domain registration, take a look at Namecheap. Avoid GD, trust me!
