OBS Mic Audio occasional artifacting
Small artifacts occuring when I speak into my mic, occurs pretty much exclusively while speaking. Happens no matter what mic I use. It happens pretty infrequently but I can replicate it by saying the word "obvious" and something about the sound of the b or v in that work triggers it

If it's not clear I have not clue what I'm doing, what could be causing it etc
GG @Starvexia, you just advanced to level 4 !
So there's two issues. The first is your audio is VERY quiet. you're about 12-16db below where you should be. If you're close to the limits of your mic or interface's gain, just add a gain filter in OBS on the mic source and add 12db and the put a limiter after set to -1db
The distortion issue you're hearing is likely a latency or sample rate/bit depth issue. Make sure your mic or interface are set to something reasonable like 16bit/48000hz
Your mic/interface may have come with a driver and control app. Check that for a buffer size and start by doubling whatever the current value is
