Wearing Ankle Pants as…regular pants?
Hey all.
I have a couple of pairs of Uniqlos ankle corduroy pants, which I’m a big fan of.
Just wondering whether it’s ‘fine’ to wear them slightly longer, as if they were not as cropped?
I have a short inside leg (typically 28 in trousers) so maybe I’ve lucked out about in that sense - but would it be noticeable that these are ankle length if I wore them slightly lower on my waist?
Two crappy pics for comparison. If I’m wearing boots then it’s less noticeable as they’re taller, sneakers used as an example of lower shoes.
(The only point to note is that when I sit down I think you can notice the cropped length a bit more, but I don’t think there’s much I can do about that…)

They just look like no break pants
It's fine
Breaks/crops depend on the person' wearing them and their specific inside leg measurements
Thank you! Had a moment of self doubt this morning so thought I’d check. Yeah I think I’ve lucked out with the shorter legs in this instance.
i have short legs and i love that it means i can wear cropped pants as normal ones, saves me having to pay to hem them
Haha, yeah - that’s definitely a bonus!
@2 bags of CrispySmokyFrazzle(s) what colourway are you wearing in the pics?
I believe that this is what they classify as 'Beige' in the 'Smart Corduroy Ankle Length Trousers' .
Curiously, I've noticed that they describe the fit as 'slim' on the description text now, but again, I don't think they come up as particularly 'slim' on my frame!
