JavaScript Course Suggestion
I'm really into learning full-stack web development right now, with a big focus on getting really good at JavaScript. My goal is to eventually move on to a JavaScript framework once I've got the basics down. To help me learn, I'm looking for a good course that teaches the JavaScript stuff you need for full-stack work. It should be for total beginners and explain things in an easy-to-understand way. I'd like something short and sweet, less than 30 hours - I don't want to do a super long course like 70, 40, or 50 hours. Also, I like when the teacher uses plain and simple English to make learning easier.

I took this course:

It really boosted my javascript knowledge. Linkedin Learning is not free, but the course is worth the price!
This course inspired me to start a website, and I've been doing it since!

I didn't take any course or anything
expect i got my fundamentals right from the app "mimo".. Once dat was done, i just started using it in code
i also got more yt videos suggested regarding js, and when I'd see something interesting, i used to search that specific topic up. Also when I was quite comfortable with it, I had searched up "things in js a web dev should know aboit" and also got many things from those lists that I need to know.
Basically never watched any course but learned stuffs as they occurred to me or felt in need off.
Tho i would like to mention, there's a channel on yt called Bro Code and he has amazing courses over many languages. I highly recommend his course instead of too much long azz courses on codecamp or any other place cause his video goes over all the fundamentals + intermediate concepts in just 1 single video that's like 4,5 hours long.. And it's MORE than enough to get you started
I liked the scrimba course because the in browser editor and the teacher was good .
The udemy course everyone raves about seems good but there is something about the instructors voice that just doesn’t keep my attention ? He speaks very slowly and when I speed it up my mind just starts wandering

EDIT: also not a big fan of free code camps YouTube content but this site is good for some fundamentals and being able to pick out certain concepts to brush up on. Still a scrimba cheerleader. And the Jonas course on udemy was the one I didn’t vibe with.

On YT: Brad Traversy, Web Dev Simplified and The Net Ninja are my go-to channels for beginner content in a concise form. Dcode, Codevolution are also a good ones. Most of these channels do a good job at renewing their content every few years but even if you find a video that is a 3 or 4 years old remember that fundamentals are the same. Look for their videos on small projects as well.
If you are looking for an extended course, 60hrs + with in depth understanding, I give my full vouch to Jonas Schmedtmann – The complete Javascript course
It covers from older to newest usages. There are plenty of projects and he does a good job covering even things like debugging to some extent.
Course is in Udemy but it cost like 10-15$, so price shouldn't be a big issue I hope.
