i cant open iris because i have win rar on my pc and it downloads in win rar what should i do?

that's the mod jar
it should work fine
you need a fabric installation to use that
welp, Iris is a mod not an application so you cant just open by double click it
move it into .minecraft/mods
make sure you have fabric installed too

press Win + R, type %appdata%
you will find the .minecraft folder there
i only see .minercraft but in there is no mods folder should i just create one?
i have this one aswell what should i do with that
Just run the installer with Java
It will do all the magic for you
but i cant click it it wil open it wirh win rar
I think you can right click -> open with -> open with Java or smth
