Headphones recommendation
Hi all, just wondering if anyone can recommend a pair of headphones that:
* work well with a GOXLR mixer for streaming
* are suitable for gaming, including surround-sound enabled games (including Atmos)
* generally good/versatile for everyday use such a productivity tasks and music
* uses a connection type compatible with GoXLR and other audio equipment (likely 1/4 inch or 3.5mm, open to XLR options if beneficial)
I should be able to figure this out for myself, but my babies have recently decided to show their deep love and affection for me - by granting me somewhere in the region of 15 minutes sleep over the last 3 days, reducing me to a drooling, unthinking, pool of mush. So if anyone already knows of a set of headphones that checks all those boxes, I would really appreciate a recommendation. Thanks 😄

I prefer headphones generally with a flat response and relatively low price: Sony MDR-7506, Senal SMH-1200, AKG-K240... but it depends on your preference and fit.
in the above price range I'd recommend the HIFIMAN HE400SE non-Stealth (aka v1) for about $50 USD from AliExpress if you're comfortable with an open back, AKG K371 for at most $110 USD (it's been a while though) if closed
above that I'd be looking at the Sennheiser HD6XX ($180ish), Sennheiser HD560S ($150ish) for open backs
further closed back options are the Audeze Maxwell ($300 unless you need Xbox support) and potentially a cheaper variant of that in the PlayStation Pulse Elite ($150)
release on the latter is in Feb, wait for reviews that measure tonal balance, otherwise you're hoping for EQ to be workable, and that's assuming the technical performance of the Audeze drivers doesn't suffer greatly due to the cheaper implementation
