Do I need to pay for extra project members?
I'm on the Hobby tier and have a single project – I don't want to make a team or upgrade to Pro / Enterprise. I do, however, want to invite my friends to my project. Do I have to pay for their "seats?"

Yes, a seat is just a person on your team, and each seat costs 20 dollars
so you'll be spending
20*members + usage a monthI believe the answer is no.

read "I don't want to make a team" as "I want to make a team" somehow 💀
yea on hobby plan, inviting members don't cost any money
this only applies to team / pro plan
