F.e. Xiaomi phones have inbuilt game booster which does nothing like that, it only limits processes in the background while playing etc.
using built in game launchers is fine but 3rd party apps that can be downloaded via an app store/a website are not allowed
and the majority of these 3rd party apps are useless, they just use you for monetization
Im a huawei user
idk if huawei has an inbuilt launcher but if they do then u can use it (as long as its not sketchy)
