Road mesh conform issue

Not sure if this is related to my pc only but when I create a road from a spline that conforms to a terrain or landscape and if I make any adjustments to the terrain afterwards I notice the road does not conform to the new landscape automatically. However, the solution I found is to take the smoothness slider back to 0 and then back to the max value and the road adjusts fine...if anyone runs into this!

yes ittakes it the first time but if I change it after it doesnt update...

adjusted the landscape - road remain underneath...I adjusted the smoothness and back to 10 works fine...same happens with Dash terrain

hmm, are you on Dash 1.4? You can check with the menu on the left side of Dash

yes if u cant replicate it on ur end then it maybe my pc...in any case dragging the slider and back is no big deal fornow

Cool, thanks for the info. right now I have 1.5 test build on my machine so need to downgrade and test 1.4 and see if I get same issue. Getting back to you as soon as I can

yeah I think... Ok I noticed another issue..if I have say up to 4 sections of my landscape as a Surface on the road then my landscape sculptinmg freezes and after a while I get crashes...I am assuming its constantly trying to read from these surfaces...perhaps an on and off switch would help if its not possible to disengage the constant reading - which in this case seems to be trying to do but is unable to - so that its not necessary to unload them sculpt and reapply...Im using the default level....

Sorry for the slow answer @EXTILE-AlexandrosD Ye perhaps that could be the issue, what you could try is to use the freeze functions in the tool settings (a short video about it here: https://discord.com/channels/826908885024636989/1154397483041042442/1171787221095948298 ⁠⁠), or to enable periodic mode in the Dash main menu Try those ideas out and let me know if it helps! 🙂
