1. you get 100gb of shared empherial container storage, and each service can have 5gb volumes, volumes are additional costs and are charged only for tje space used.
2. nope, it's 5$ for the account, I don't know the exact number of projects you can have but it's a lot.
something else worth mentioning, it's a 5$ a month subscription, it comes with 5$ of included resource usage, any resource usage above 5$ will be billed to you
i see, is the cost per usage documented somewhere?
im trying to guage whether railway is a cheaper alternative than just renting a vps

depends on what you're hosting
from my experience it is in multiple ways:
1. I only ran 2 services on the VPS, costs me around 2.40 right now on Railway (altho it depends on the resource usage of the services)
2. You dont have to worry about server maintenance and firewalls ect, saving you costs / time
3. Same counts for deploying, its way easier
