What do the 'creases' in the crotch area of these 'Straight Fit' chinos mean
Just a Straight Fit chino I've recently tried on from a store.
Someone pointed out that the crotch area looks...odd?
And I think it's the weird creasing.
What is it caused by? They dont feel tight at all and sit great at the waist!

Pulling and some indications of pocket flare suggest not enough space in the top block/possibly too small a waist size.
What Derek said in the main channel is correct. The front panels aren’t large enough. I suspect the entire top block is too small like cdfchopper said.
They’re chinos tho so nbd honestly
hmmm, had a feeling it's due to the 'tightness' of the waist area.
Do you think I should size up?
Also, what does nbd mean?
No big deal.
If the waist feels tight you should probably size up.
