Brands similar to Sassafras, gardering inspired, etc.

Hey everyone. One brand I am a really big fan of when it comes to looks is Sassafras, but let's just say that it's not that easy to get into the EU, and currently my budget won't allow myself to spend that much on clothing pieces. While I know it might be a forbidden saying here, but does anyone happen to know brands that would rock a similar style / inspiration, be available in the EU without import and might be on a "cheaper" side ? What I enjoy the most in Sassafras is its overall look, managing to combine both the utilitarian aspect, the outdoor feeling of its clothes, and its "clean" aspect (might be a better term for that somewhere). Budget would be around 100 € max per piece. I can go slightly above if there's really something that I fall in love with. I know you can sometimes find some stuff from Sassafras at this price if you're lucky but I am not! If you need any more info from me I'll be glad to give.

I don’t know of any great alternatives other than like…vintage/thrifted stuff. However if you learn to proxy from Japan, Sassafras can be had for well under 100€ per piece if you buy a few items at a time.

TEF is similar and very cool but not cheaper. I know that's not really what you're asking about, but I figured you might be interested https://tefkit.co.uk/

100 € is a hard budget and i think you'd be better off going second-hand on ebay or thrift shops. but if you can stretch your budget a bit more, brands such as Old Town, Olderbrother, Tender, and Carrier Company also fit this aesthetic. You may be able to find them for cheaper than retail at eBay, Grailed, and Yahoo Japan Auctions. Vintage French chore coats and pants can also be found on Etsy.

thanks for the recommendation about neal, didn't know them! I was thinking about proxy. The one I'm using currently have a maintenance on yahoo auctions but when it comes back I'll see if I can find stuff. I'll just need to see for the size. (I'm guessing for japanese size it's one above yours). I do agree that yes, it's a bit low. I'm writing down all the brands you gave, thank you. Since we have Vinted over here I'll also keep an eye out if stuff comes out. To be honest I'm from a small town so except the cheap french brands you find at mall, it's quite hard to find clothing pieces that sticks out a bit in thrift shops. Thank you again everyone for taking the time to reply 👍 (I might start off spring with a nice buy from Sassafras then...) (carrier company stuff looks great!)

Definitely look for Sassafras on JP sites to proxy. It's way, way cheaper. East Harbour Surplus and WORKWARE HC Co. have similar vibes as well.

seconding carrier co for a similar vibe, more traditional (fewer weird pockets/details) not sure if the prices align for new, but you also might check out garbstore and le laboureur

Style Farmer to Farmer Style—AKA Gardening Clothing
I imagine I’m not the only Style Forumer who enjoys gardening. A ludicrous activity in which we fight the weather, challenge wildlife and defy the very heavens themselves, all so we can pick the flora and fauna that lurks outside our homes. I love it. But gardening clothing is tricky. The best...
