and when iris isnt installed, my ui is completely bugged

try removing your other mods and keep sodium and iris

with only sodium and iris
then is it indium ?

probably not one of those two
perform a binary split to find which mod is causing the game to crash

im in a support ticket with the essential mods right now
so its apparently a problem with fabric 0.15.4
