Upgrading to Windows 11

So I got this message today by Microsft in my Windows Update panel, that I can DL and Install them for free. Now I have been fine with w10 since they came out and I had no issues. My question and concern it, will an update to Windows 11, help in terms of gaming, resources management, editing and general functionality? I read some brief articles on the web stating that Windows 11 perform somehow better and utilize RAM and everything else better. Which basically leads to OVERALL performance boost. Thanks for your time guys

Windows 11 had a lot of issues in the first year that it came out, but they've long since fixed everything If you're running an 12th gen or newer Intel CPU, then you gain a lot of performance due to the CPU scheduler changes made only on Win11

My CPU is before 12th gen.

Then you shouldn't see any perf loss or gains, really As long as yor CPU is supported and not too old

So basically at this point it is only about visuals. I read that Premier Pro in 2025 will REQUIRE w11 to work Is that true?

There are a lot of the changes under the hood but you're not going to see any noticeable performance differences

Alright. How about usability? Does it make the user's life somehow easier and more nice to work with? In relation to 10?

Ehh that's a point of contention MS made the regular right-click context menu in windows explorer "look prettier" but really just hide most of the options in a sub-menu You can fix that with either a registry key edit or apps like Shell (which I'd recommend) Otherwise it's basically Win10 You can look up all the extra features and stuff if you want to see what's new, I barely using anything on there that's exclusive to Win11

Oh I see. And lastly, if I utilize two rigs to stream. One has w11 and the other w10 (main rig on 11), will there be issues if utilizing NDI and general communication as far as OBS goes? That's a major concern.

There will be no differences for that
