Do every Chelsea Boots crease ?

Hi, I want to buy Chelsea Boots but I'm afraid the leather creases. I tried a pair from Massimo Dutti which was almost 100% leather (and 160 euros) and I had trouble sliding my foot in. When I did, the leather on the heel began creasing. I was wondering if it happens even with higher prices models ? Thanks !

The short answer is all leather creases. Actual shoe makers might be better at selecting leather which creases in a "nicer" way than Massimo Dutti.

all leather boots at any price point crease but the type of crease may change (for the better) by price point if this is a huge deal to you (tbh it shouldnt be) maybe go suede instead

Every leather boot ever will crease, yes Seconded that suede or roughout is better if you don’t want creasing to be noticeable

But creasing at the first try is crazy for me Do you have any recommendations for 150 euros maximum ? I'm in France

Every kind of leather ever develops creases as soon as its flexed Uhhhh, Meermin seconds? Likely 150 ish euros Beckett simonon isn’t too awful. I think malfroid is more affordable and definitely in France, as is septiem largeur — no clue on their actual prices tho

To help get your feet in I really like using a slightly longer shoe horn. That will help preserve the heel
