Horse armor and horse markings layering issue

Hello! I encountered this visual issue while making a texture pack for horse variants, and it only appears whenever I have iris/shaders mod in my mod folder. The horse markings are rendering on top of the horse armors. It appears even with just vanilla textures/no equipped texture packs. I did some searching within this discord, and it seems it's a recurring issue, but I haven't been able to find a solution. Minecraft version: 1.19.2 fabric (iris + sodium + indium latest possible versions)
