Domain masking multiple domains
Hello, I'm working on a project where users could use their own domains if they upgrade to the pro plan, the pro plan includes that they could use their own custom domain instead of using my website.
How can i integrate this in railway?

you could use the railway api to add their domain to your railway service, but keep in mind the hobby plan has a limit of 2 custom domains per service, and the pro plan has a limit of 10, getting the ability to add more than 10 custom domains to a service would require to to upgrade to a custom plan

and how much would a custom plan cost?
a good bit more than 20$ a month

no problem, and if that's something that interests you, upgrade to pro and then email [email protected] to talk pricing on a custom plan that would allow you more than 10 domains per service
I dont have an estimate on how many users who would pay for premium, But i would definitely love to know the estimated pricing per domain, If it's high I'll probably use something else. again thank you 🙂
from my understanding it may be high, but I'm actually interested in this pricing myself just to satisfy my curiosity and because I could see more users being interested in what this would cost, so tomorrow I will ping the sales guy
ah yes please. I'd much rather know before i keep pushing to railway and using it, i should possibly look for other alternatives
I would like to note that you would at least need to be on pro at a minimum, but I agree it would be nice to know of the pricing beyond that
I am on the $5 hobby plan atm, i wouldn't mind doing pro, but if i will commit to something i want to know and calculate the pricing for unlimited domains
then hopefully Angelo will be able to talk about the additional costs for that beyond the cost of pro

they aren't pro yet, and understandably don’t want to upgrade before they know how much extra domains would cost

it's an SaaS, but premium users will have the ability to use custom domains
so I wanted to do the calculations before choosing the host, im already on hobby on railway for now tho
