hello i was wondering if someone can help me

I activate catchall in email forwarding. but when I send an email to [email protected] nothing happens.
I never get the email in the forwarding address
do you know how I can trouble shoot it
Can you send a screenshot of the settings as well as your MX records
@kingkong Are you sending the email from the same email account that the email(s) are forwarded to?
Gmail will discard the email if it’s destined for the same inbox. You’ll need to test it from another email account.

no I am not. I was sending from different provider completely. outlook to Gmail
interestingly, today it works it didnt give me the "failed" spike in the email forwarded section. I will monitor and if there are problems again I will post my findings here.
