Crash report
After like 3 days I realised that the source of why I was crashing on hypixel skyblock and occassionally in other random cases, was just having iris shaders mod installed, I don't believe this is an incompatibility issue, it's probably because I'm using feather client or the fact that I'm playing on 1.20.4, could somehow be related to my hardware also. Does anybody have any other information about this?
The error message I was getting was 'error during messaging worker: an existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host'

does this help? I disabled all my mods apart from iris and sodium obviously
Theres some resource packs that are on that might come up but that has nothing to do with it
actually that crash report message seems too small something might have gone wrong let me know

Feather client isn't really compatible with iris
There a lot of posts here where people try to use iris with feather client
(just use other good clients)
Or other launchers
Is there a replacement mod ? canvas?
not the same shader format. shaders for iris can't work on canvas, canvas is incompatible with sodium

you can use shaders but there are less shaders for canvas than for iris

It's a crash in obfuscated feather code so we can't do anything for you. Just install normal fabric without feather if you want to play with Iris.
